NEA disburses $2.4 million in grants to Texas arts organizations

The National Endowment for the Arts has announced its second major round of grants for fiscal year 2021, with $88 million distributed nationally.

In Texas, some 60 grants totaling $2,436,400 were awarded. Of that the Texas Commission on the Arts received $1,127,600 for its partnership/re-granting program.

Austin area groups receiving NEA funds in this round are:

  • Dance Art Spark — $15,000
  • Forklift Danceworks — $10,000
  • Fusebox Festival — $50,000
