The presenters of touring Broadway shows are betting that audiences will be willing to return to live theaters by late 2021.
Broadway in Austin recently announced that it will again present shows at Bass Concert Hall with the return of the Tony Award-winning “Hamilton” on Dec. 7-19, 2021.
The entire 2020-21 season was forced to postpone/reschedule twice due to the ongoing pandemic.
As of now, the Broadway in Austin 2021-22 season is:

“Tootsie,” Â Feb. 22-27, 2022
“The Lion King, April 7-24, 2022
“Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” March 22-27, 2022
“Summer: The Donna Summer Musical,” May 3-8, 2022
“Mean Girls,” Aug. 2-7, 2022
